From discovering the material to making your own piece.
Basketry is a living part of Polish heritage. In 2025, Polish basketry traditions were added to the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage.
During the workshop, participants discover what willow is, how it is prepared and how to weave it. Everyone then makes their own piece step by step.
The options include Christmas wreaths, bird feeders, willow vases and trays, and a session called Your First Willow Basket. We adapt the subject to the group's age, venue and available time.
