From discovering the material to making your own piece.
During our Christmas workshops, we make decorations inspired by old customs. Before the event, we choose a subject suited to the participants' age and the character of the occasion.
The options include Advent wreaths with beeswax foundation candles, traditional stars and chains, straw decorations and crepe paper poinsettias.
One of the subjects is a traditional craft workshop devoted to Polish wafer worlds. These are light three-dimensional decorations made from pieces of white or coloured Christmas wafer. In the past, they were hung from ceiling beams, traditional evergreen decorations and near devotional pictures in the home.
During straw decoration workshops, participants make stars, hanging ornaments or chains. Everyone learns how to prepare the material and takes home their own handmade decoration.
