What the workshop looks like
From discovering the material to making your own piece.
The workshop begins with the basic language of weaving. Participants discover how warp and weft work together to create a textile structure.
Each person works on a small frame, chooses colours and fibres, and builds a mini textile using a basic weave.
Everyone can work at their own pace. The emphasis is on understanding the technique, choosing materials and completing an individual piece.
